At the end of a transfer cycle, production lines may retain a significant quantity of residual product. DEFINOX pigging systems enable efficient recovery of this material by pushing the remaining product through the pipelines. With STARMOTION® solutions, a pig is propelled through the line by a fluid, pushing the product toward the end of the pipeline. Once the pipeline has been pigged and cleaned, it is immediately ready for a new production cycle.The STARMOTION® receiving station is designed to ensure reliable pig reception at the end of the pipeline and secure retention during production, cleaning, or maintenance phases.Integrated directly into the pipeline and equipped as standard with a lip-reversing system that reduces pig wear, it ensures hydraulic continuity while protecting both the pig and process equipment. A safety bayonet locking system is included as standard: in the event of residual pressure in the line, it prevents accidental dismantling and ensures safe maintenance operations.Its hygienic 316L stainless steel design, CIP-compatible construction, spring-free design, and internal surface finish Ra ≤ 0.8 µm (180 grit) ensure excellent cleanability and eliminate retention areas. Solid-machined bodies provide high resistance to mechanical and thermal stresses.



Available with multiple welded or aseptic connection types and seal materials (EPDM or FKM), the receiving station integrates easily into new or existing installations and represents a key component of a safe and efficient pigging system.
