The Definox DPAX DE pneumatically actuated butterfly valve is a double-seal mixproof valve with a leakage chamber. Based on a two independent butterfly discs design, it ensures optimal process safety and safe separation of incompatible fluids thanks to a monitored intermediate safety chamber.The leakage chamber enables rapid detection of any seal failure, while the intermediate space can be cleaned (CIP) to ensure a high level of hygiene. This design helps control the risk of cross-contamination in demanding process applications.

Standardized with the DPX / DPAX ranges, the DPAX DE uses common components, facilitating maintenance and spare parts management. Available with flanged connections only, it can be combined with DEFINOX detection solutions.
