In Line Cleaning Station

At the end of a transfer cycle, production lines may retain a significant quantity of residual product. DEFINOX pigging systems enable efficient recovery of this material by pushing the remaining product through the pipelines. With STARMOTION® solutions, a pig is propelled through the line by a fluid, pushing the product toward the end of the pipeline. Once pigged and cleaned, the line is immediately ready for a new production cycle.The STARMOTION® in-line cleaning station is designed to ensure complete pig cleaning without dismantling or prolonged production downtime. Integrated directly into the pipeline, it automates pig insertion, transfer, cleaning, and return to the station, ensuring optimal line availability while maintaining a high level of hygienic safety.The cage design, combined with a locking cylinder, ensures pig retention during the process phase and enables full-surface cleaning through the turbulence of the cleaning fluid, providing high cleaning efficiency during CIP operations. A safety bayonet locking system is included as standard: in the event of residual pressure in the line, it prevents accidental dismantling and ensures safe maintenance operations. The cleaning station can be installed either at the launch or receiving end of the line, offering high installation flexibility according to process constraints and production sequences.Manufactured from hygienic 316L stainless steel and CIP-compatible, the station features an internal surface finish Ra ≤ 0.8 µm (180 grit), ensuring excellent cleanability. Solid-machined bodies guarantee the absence of retention areas and provide high resistance to mechanical and thermal stresses.



Available with four types of welded or aseptic connections and two seal materials (EPDM or FKM), the station integrates easily into existing or new installations and can be used in combination with a receiving station to configure a pigging solution tailored to each process requirement.

The NEOS membrane double sealing is a shut-off valve with leak detection. It makes it possible to alert on a sealing failure thanks to its leak chamber, avoiding any risk of mixing. Equipped with a lantern membrane, the NEOS membrane provides very good resistance to aggressive products or CIP environments. The NEOS membrane can be equipped with an additional cleaning microvalve to flush the leak chamber.
